ClickUp users have been vocal about the need for better dashboard management, specifically expressing a strong desire for the ability to organize multiple dashboards into folders. The current lack of organizational tools for dashboards has led to clutter and inefficiency, particularly for users managing numerous dashboards for different purposes such as departmental reviews, sprint reviews, or client presentations. The ability to categorize these dashboards into folders and possibly tag them for easier retrieval has been a recurring theme in user feedback. This becomes increasingly critical as enterprises scale and the number of dashboards grows, making navigation and dashboard accessibility cumbersome.

  • Color-Coding for Folders:
    Allow users to color-code dashboard folders for quick visual identification, improving user experience by making navigation intuitive and efficient.
  • Multiple Folder Assignment:
    Enable dashboards to be assigned to multiple folders. This flexibility would aid users who need to access certain dashboards from various organizational contexts.
  • Dashboard Visualization Loops:
    Implement a feature for auto-rotating dashboards within a folder when displayed on public screens, enhancing visibility across teams or in public areas.
  • Create and Manage Dashboard Folders:
    Allow users to create folders to organize dashboards. Users should be able to add, rename, or delete folders, and drag dashboards into these folders.
