Many users find it crucial for their workflow to have robust support for viewing and editing these documents without having to resort to external applications. Despite existing integrations like Google Docs, the absence of a deeper, more functional integration with Microsoft Office disables users from leveraging their full suite of tools efficiently within ClickUp. This extension seeks to bridge that gap, enhancing productivity and streamlining the document management process.

- Automatic Sync and Save:
Any changes made to embedded MS Office documents should automatically sync and save back to their original location, ensuring that all modifications are updated in real without manual intervention. - Real-Time Collaboration:
Users should be able to collaborate in real-time on embedded MS Office documents. Similar to the experience on Microsoft Teams or Google Docs, multiple users must be able to edit documents concurrently. - Preview Without Download:
Users should have the option to preview MS Office documents within ClickGUp without the need to download them, simplifying access and review processes. - Embed MS Office Documents:
The plugin should enable users to embed MS Office documents directly into ClickUp tasks and docs. This should support various file types, including .docx, .xlsx, and .pptx, providing a seamless viewing and editing experience. - Local and Online Document Support:
The extension should support embedding documents stored both locally and online (e.g., OneDrive). This will address user needs for accessing files that may not be hosted on a cloud service.
