Many Hive users have expressed the need for more granular control over user permissions within their workspaces. The current all-or-nothing approach to user permissions has led to several operational challenges. Hive administrators are seeking the ability to create customized permission sets based on roles, such as Analyst, Consultant, and Director. These permissions would include abilities like editing project dates, managing resourcing, and handling form layouts, among others. The aim is to ensure that each user has the appropriate level of access, mitigating the risks of accidental changes or deletions that could affect project integrity.

- Role-Based Permission Groups:
Enable creation of defined permission groups based on user roles. Each group should have customizable permissions, including the ability to assign tasks, edit critical fields, and limit access to project modifications. - Reduce Administrative Overhead:
Facilitate quicker onboarding and management of user permissions through a clean interface, allowing administrators to view or modify each individual's access rights efficiently. - Prevent Accidental Modifications:
Implement features to prevent undesired changes, like moving action card dates or deleting important entries, by setting permissions that can restrict such actions to only authorized user roles.
